The sixth blog in this series comes from Bridget Cutchen, Associate Director, Patient Financial Services at Emory Healthcare. Bridget was first introduced to Nemadji a few years back at an HFMA vendor fair—after being intrigued by the name, she inquired about the source and learned a lot about the company.
Introduction
Nemadji and Emory Healthcare formed their partnership a little over a year ago and it has proven to be an instant success.
In just one year, Nemadji has generated just under $4m in net new revenue for the hospital.
What’s Different About Nemadji?
The whole team that we work with is very personal. They are work serious, but very approachable.
Our relationship with Nemadji is really good—we are currently in the middle of several large projects so we have to shift work and meetings a lot and they are always so gracious to help make it work.
In the early stages of our project, the Nemadji team consistently kept in touch with us learning our systems and processes. There were several training sessions held to ensure things were correct—there was never any tension or hard feelings when we were “picking things apart.” You cannot say that about a lot of business partners.
What Value Does Nemadji Bring to Your Hospital and Staff?
The value is the money they bring in that we were missing.
They touch accounts that we would never be able to get to, and make the contact on them for us to get paid.
Honestly, the majority of our staff does not know about Nemadji—which is not a bad thing in our world. They are behind the scenes and when the staff does not see/hear about a vendor, that means they are doing an awesome job.
